The Researcher Project for Early Career Scientists on Global Health and Development Research is a competitive grant call to enable early-career researchers to lead their own research projects in development research and global health. Projects must be carried out in collaboration with equitable partners located in low- and lower-middle-income countries. The call supports research addressing priorities related to poverty, inequality and development, and to reducing health inequalities and strengthening health security. The programme also aims to develop applicants' experience in supervising students and doctoral candidates and to strengthen institutional capacity in partner countries.

Conditions d'éligibilité
The Project Owner must be an approved Norwegian research organisation. The project manager must hold an approved doctoral degree with the public defence no earlier than 2019-03-11 and no later than 2024-06-01, must work at least 25% full time in the project and be employed at least 50% at the Project Owner organisation during the project period. Projects must include partners located in low- and lower-middle-income countries as defined by the OECD DAC list; partners from Colombia, Gaza and the West Bank are also considered LLMICs for this call.
Candidature
The Project Owner (approved Norwegian research organisation) submits the application via the Research Council of Norway's new application system; the Project Owner must approve the submission on behalf of all partners.
