Innovation Projects for the Industrial Sector: Land-based Bioeconomy 2026 is a competitive funding call to support research- or development-driven innovation projects that develop new technology, products or services within the land-based bioeconomy value chains. The call targets projects with significant elements of industrial research and/or experimental development and aims for results such as new products, services, manufacturing processes or substantial improvements to existing solutions. Projects must have a scope and risk profile indicating that companies could not carry them out without funding from the Research Council of Norway. The call covers activities relevant to forestry, wood utilisation, agriculture, the land-based food industry, reindeer husbandry and utilisation of biological raw materials and side streams.

Conditions d'éligibilité
The Project Owner must be a company registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises and have economic activity in Norway. The project must involve at least one partner who is a Norwegian company or procurement of commissioned research from at least one R&D provider; all partners must have defined tasks and be independent of one another.
