Innovation project in the industrial sector: Energy and transport 2026

The Innovation Project in the Industrial Sector: Energy and Transport 2026 is a Research Council of Norway call to support company-led innovation projects containing significant industrial research and/or experimental development. Projects may result in new or significantly improved products, services, manufacturing processes or delivery methods, and must have a triggering need for funding (projects must not have started prior to application). Thematic areas include environmentally-friendly energy, petroleum, maritime and transport, and CCS among others.

Financial support for company-led innovation projects involving industrial research and/or experimental development; support intended to trigger initiation of R&D activities and may cover project costs described in the call.

The call is aimed at companies that wish to carry out innovation projects with significant industrial research and/or experimental development content. Projects and activities must not have started before the application is submitted.
