CMU Portugal Dual-Degree PhD Scholarships

The CMU Portugal Dual-Degree PhD Scholarships are doctoral fellowships funded through the CMU Portugal program, a collaboration between Portugal and Carnegie Mellon University. The program enables researchers to pursue a PhD with joint supervision, including time spent at CMU (up to two years) and at a Portuguese affiliated university (up to three years), culminating in two doctoral degrees (one from CMU and one from the Portuguese university). Up to 10 scholarships are available for the 2026/2027 academic year.
