CMU-Portugal Visiting Faculty and Researchers Programme and Visiting Students Programme

The CMU-Portugal mobility initiatives comprise two coordinated programmes: Visiting Faculty and Researchers and Visiting Students. They support research stays at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh for Portuguese citizens or residents affiliated with a Portuguese higher education or research institution, with visits ranging from two weeks to two months. A second track supports master's students who recently earned a degree in Portugal to undertake ICT-related research at CMU for two weeks to two months, under supervision by CMU faculty and researchers.

Support for research stays at CMU (including collaboration with CMU colleagues) for two weeks to two months

Portuguese citizens or permanent residents of Portugal; for visiting faculty/researchers, must hold a doctoral degree and be affiliated with a Portuguese higher education or research institution; for visiting students, must have recently earned a degree in Portugal in ICT-related areas.
