AwesomeStPaul $1,000 Grant

The AwesomeStPaul $1,000 Grant is a monthly no-strings-attached micro-grant awarded by the St. Paul chapter of the Awesome Foundation. It funds small projects that serve the St. Paul community, with a focus on the arts, education, and social outreach. The chapter awards one $1,000 grant at least 12 times a year to individual applicants or creators. Projects must be specific to St. Paul and demonstrate public benefit, feasibility and community impact.

A $1,000 no-strings-attached grant

Projects must be specific to St. Paul and show community benefit, feasibility and a clear plan for how the grant will be used. The chapter will not fund business startups or expansion, book publishing, projects that only benefit the applicant (such as travel to a conference, residencies, or working on a book), online marketing, or website design.

Submit an application via the Awesome Foundation submissions portal; applications are due the last day of each month, trustees meet the second week of the following month to vote, winner is announced and funds are distributed to the individual applicant. Applications remain active until the applicant is notified they are no longer being considered.
