Graduate Research Grants

The Graduate Research Grants program provides research funding to support Cornell graduate students and postdoctoral researchers conducting projects that align with the Atkinson Center's working group themes, including Increasing Food Security and Reducing Climate Risks. Awards fund research across a range of disciplines represented at Cornell and support project work such as field sampling, modeling, and experimental studies. Recipients come from departments across natural resources, engineering, social sciences, and related fields. The program is supported by donors to the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability.

Applicants respond to a Request for Proposals as described on the program's How to Apply materials; selection of recipients is by the Atkinson Center.
