Betty Fletcher Memorial Travelling Scholarship

The Betty Fletcher Memorial Travelling Scholarship is a travel scholarship maintained from an endowment fund at the University of Queensland. It supports students in fields administered by the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry to undertake a travel opportunity of not less than four weeks related to the civilisations of Rome or Ancient Greece. The scholarship is intended for applicants who have not previously held the scholarship and who do not hold another travel scholarship.

Applicants must be enrolled in an extended major, major or field of study administered by the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry; must not hold another travel scholarship; must not have previously held this scholarship; and must have identified a travel opportunity of not less than four weeks to commence within the next 12 months in Greece, Italy, Asia Minor, or any other place that was part of the civilisation of Rome or Ancient Greece.
