The Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) Program is a short-term study and research scholarship enabling Mongolian students to study in Canada to contribute to implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The program offers placements at bachelor, master and doctoral levels for periods ranging from one to two academic terms or several months. The scholarship covers travel, insurance and living-related costs and aims to strengthen Canada–Mongolia cooperation and capacity for sustainable development.
Avantages
Visa and permit fee coverage; return airfare; health insurance; living allowance for accommodation and food; public transport costs; books and course materials (excluding computer).
Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be citizens of Mongolia, enrolled as regular students in a Mongolian university, must not be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and must not already be recipients of another Government of Canada scholarship.
Candidature
A Canadian host institution applies on the student's behalf; host and Mongolian institution must have a cooperation agreement and the Canadian host must submit the application to Global Affairs Canada by the stated deadline.
