UMS Scholarship (Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta) 2026

The UMS Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship programme offered by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) for international students to pursue Bachelor, Master, or PhD degrees. The scholarship includes a free one-year Indonesian language preparatory programme to help students integrate academically and culturally. It covers tuition, living costs, accommodation, health insurance, visa fees and return airfare.

Full tuition; monthly living allowance (1,750,000 IDR); monthly books allowance (50,000 IDR); return airfare; free housing; health insurance; visa fee coverage; one-year Indonesian language preparatory year.

International applicants from all countries may apply for Bachelor, Master or PhD programmes.

Apply online via the university scholarship portal and submit required documents (passport copy, academic transcripts and certificates, English language certificate, academic recommendation letter, motivation letter, university agreement forms, and proof of funding where required).
