Workshop for Communicators and Content Creators on Renewable Energy in Agra

The workshop is a three-day training for communicators and content creators to deepen understanding of renewable energy issues and develop reporting and social media storytelling skills. Selected participants will learn from industry leaders, subject experts and community leaders, take a field trip to observe renewable energy rollout, and receive hands-on training in solutions journalism and content creation. The workshop takes place in Agra, Uttar Pradesh from September 24 to 26, 2026.

Training sessions with industry and subject experts, field trip to renewable energy sites, mentoring, and travel, accommodation and meals covered for selected participants.

Open to communicators and content creators; content creators should actively post short-form videos on major social platforms (advantage if audience >20,000). Communicators should actively report on environmental and/or energy issues and may be staff or freelancers. Applicants must commit to attending all days and permit republication of outputs. Priority given to applicants from Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states, with secondary priority to applicants from Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Odisha.
