Alfred and Dorothy May Anderson Scholarship

The Alfred and Dorothy May Anderson Scholarship supports students undertaking the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education program at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Offers are made by UNSW to students based on Australian Year 12 results for students applying for admission via UAC. The scholarship targets students from rural or regional areas as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Areas.

Applicants must have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW or in the previous two years provided no tertiary study was undertaken; be commencing full-time undergraduate study in the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education program; and be from a rural area (all ASGS remoteness categories other than RA1 Major Cities of Australia).

No separate scholarship application is required; UNSW will make offers based on Australian Year 12 results for students applying for admission via UAC.
