The King’s Commonwealth Fellowship Programme 2025 offers PhD fellowships for academics and professionals from Small Island Developing States to undertake a PhD in their home country alongside work, with joint supervision from a partner university in the Commonwealth. Fellows enrol in a PhD programme at a SIDS home university while spending periods of study/research at partner universities abroad (mainly Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom). The fellowship supports PhD studies in climate change/environment, education, engineering and health, including structured training and professional development.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent and be enrolled or due to commence a PhD at an ACU SIDS member university in 2025/26, with the PhD in one of the designated research areas. Citizenship or refugee status must be in a Commonwealth SIDS.
