The Killam Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is a competitive, fully funded postdoctoral programme at the University of British Columbia funded by the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund. It supports outstanding early-career researchers across most academic disciplines for up to two years. Fellows receive an annual stipend and access to UBC research facilities and mentoring through collaboration with UBC faculty. Only a small number of fellows (4–6) are selected each year.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must have completed all PhD requirements within 24 months of the fellowship start date, must not have earned their PhD from UBC, must not hold a tenure-track or permanent faculty position, and must be willing to reside at UBC during the fellowship. Applicants with documented career interruptions may receive up to one year extension.
Candidature
Department nomination required: identify a UBC tenure-track/continuing supervisor, prepare application documents (form, research proposal, CV, supporting documents), submit to UBC department/unit by internal deadline; departments nominate candidates centrally. Applicants cannot apply directly to the central office.
