Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) Scholarship 2027-2028

The IUCEA Scholarship 2027-2028 is a fully funded master's scholarship for nationals of the East African Community (EAC) to pursue Master's studies in an EAC Partner State other than their country of citizenship. The 4th cohort is funded by KfW and supports up to 120 scholars with tuition, living stipend, travel, and related allowances.

Full tuition, return air ticket, monthly living stipend, study materials allowance, study and research allowance, medical insurance, visa/entry fees, arrival allowance, and participation in extracurricular activities.

Citizens of any of the eight EAC Partner States; below 35 years of age at the time of application; intend to study in an EAC Partner State other than their country of citizenship; hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Upper Division, Distinction, or equivalent; have applied for admission to an eligible Master's programme offered by a partner university; submit a complete scholarship application within the stipulated period.
