Richmond Scholars Program

The Richmond Scholars Program is the University of Richmond’s merit-based scholarship for outstanding students applying to begin undergraduate studies. It provides full coverage of tuition, housing, and meals throughout undergraduate study, with ongoing academic and personal development support. Approximately 25 incoming students are selected for the scholarship.

Full tuition, on-campus housing, meals, up to USD 5,500 one-time grant for an academic experience, priority course registration, guaranteed housing, faculty mentorship, access to special programs and events.

Applicants must be applying for first-year undergraduate admission and may be US or international students; applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to contributing to a diverse and inclusive community.

Submit an undergraduate admission application by December 1, 2026; once admitted, candidates are considered for the scholarship.
