Karolinska Institutet Foundation Scholarships

The Karolinska Institutet Foundation Scholarships are internal financial awards for students enrolled at Karolinska Institutet. They provide one-time financial support to students facing temporary economic hardship and may also be awarded to recognise academic excellence and outstanding research. Awards are intended for students who have completed at least one year of study at the institution.

Single payment of financial assistance (typically 5,000–20,000 SEK) for emergency support or to reward research merits.

Applicants must be officially enrolled students at Karolinska Institutet who have completed at least one full year of study; priority is given to students without state support or to those with high-quality research merits.

Complete the official application form and submit supporting documents (financial evidence or research summary and proof of enrolment) online via the Karolinska Institutet application portal before the stated deadline.
