Emerging Leaders of the Americas Program (ELAP)

The Emerging Leaders of the Americas Program (ELAP) is a scholarship program to study in Canada for Colombian students at participating universities. It supports exchange or study opportunities at Canadian institutions, with funding to cover various program-related expenses. The program is administered through institutional partnerships and information is provided by official sources such as Canadian universities and CBIE.

Travel to Canada, study opportunity at a Canadian institution, living stipend, health coverage, and related study abroad costs.

Open to Colombian students enrolled in participating Colombian universities; criteria include absence of current full-time study in Canada at undergraduate level, and meeting university-specific admission requirements for the Canadian institution involved.

Application is coordinated at the home university with the Canadian institution; universities initiate the process on behalf of eligible students.
