Korea Foundation Scholarships for Master’s and Doctoral Programs

The Korea Foundation offers scholarships for master's and doctoral programs for students studying at universities outside Korea and whose research relates to Korea. The programme covers humanities and social sciences, arts and culture studies, media and communications, contemporary Korea studies and other fields. Applicants are candidates who are currently studying or wish to enroll in graduate programs; applicants must not hold a doctoral degree and must be a foreign national or hold permanent residency outside Korea.

Stipend; covers research and dissertation-related costs

Applicants who are currently studying or intend to enroll in master’s or doctoral programs outside Korea; must not have a doctoral degree; must be a foreign national or have permanent residency outside Korea.

Applications are accepted three times a year by region.
