Einstein Forum/Wittenstein Foundation Fellowship 2026

The Einstein Forum and the Wittenstein Foundation offer a fellowship for outstanding young thinkers who wish to pursue a project in a field different from their previous research. The program supports interdisciplinary work and includes living accommodations for five to six months at Einstein’s summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg, near Potsdam and Berlin. The fellow receives a stipend and reimbursement of travel expenses.

Candidates must be under 35 and hold a university degree in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences. The fellowship is not intended for those who wish to complete a study they have already begun.

Submit CV, a two-page project proposal, and two letters of recommendation in PDF format; cover letter optional. Documents must be received by the deadline.
