Nordic Africa Institute’s Nordic Scholarship Programme 2027/2028 for early-career researchers

The Nordic Africa Institute’s Nordic Scholarship Programme provides a fully funded one-month research stay at the Nordic Africa Institute to support Africa-oriented studies or research in social sciences or humanities. It targets master students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers or mid-career researchers affiliated with a university or research centre in Sweden, Finland, Denmark or Iceland, to access library resources and collaborate with NAI hosts during the stay in Uppsala, Sweden.

Travel expenses, accommodation, subsistence allowance, workspace and access to the Institute's facilities for the one-month stay.

Open to master students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers or mid-career researchers affiliated with a university or research centre in Sweden, Finland, Denmark or Iceland.
