DAAD Post-Doctoral Fellowship at SAIS 2026-2027

The DAAD Post-Doctoral Fellowship at SAIS 2026-2027 is a funded research fellowship for scholars to conduct research in Washington, D.C., affiliated with Johns Hopkins University’s SAIS. Fellows work on a topic related to the theme “The United States, Europe and World Order” and may be integrated into the Kissinger Center; the programme includes seminars, peer review, and opportunities to participate in related conferences and workshops. Each fellow receives a monthly salary, access to institutional facilities, health coverage, and research funding, with additional travel support.

Monthly salary up to $6,000, access to workspace and libraries, health care package, research funding up to $3,000, airfare allowances, accommodation and living expenses covered as applicable.

Applicants must hold a doctorate or be at the post-doctoral level, demonstrate research capacity, and be fluent in English.
