Bandas Sinfónicas Regionales del Meduca 2026

The Bandas Sinfónicas Regionales del Meduca 2026 is a national audition process for student musicians to join regional symphonic bands organized by the Ministry of Education (Meduca) in Panama. Auditions run from March 10 to March 29, 2026, with video auditions required and submission via a form linked from Meduca’s channels, followed by a public selection announced on April 20 during the Festival of Symphonic Bands. Successful participants will become part of regional bands and perform publicly from August to October 2026.

Applicants must be students in primary, pre-middle, or middle academic levels and belong to the school band or strings program, with guardian consent and authorization from the band director or the person in charge of the strings program at their school.

Applicants audition by submitting an online form hosted via Meduca channels and uploading a video audition showing a major scale and a free piece up to 1 minute 30 seconds; the video must be a single take with no edits.
