UNIL Master’s Grant 2027

The UNIL Master’s Grant is a competitive partial scholarship for international students who wish to pursue an eligible Master’s degree at the University of Lausanne (UNIL) for the 2027/2028 academic year. Selected recipients receive a monthly grant of CHF 1,600 for the statutory duration of their eligible Master’s programme and an exemption from standard fixed registration fees (the CHF 80 semester fee remains payable). Approximately 10 grants are awarded each year and applicants must meet UNIL’s academic, language and administrative requirements.

Applicants must hold a foreign university degree considered equivalent to a Swiss Bachelor’s degree (or be expected to obtain it before starting the Master’s), demonstrate strong academic performance, meet the language requirement (generally C1 in French or English as required by the programme), not have previously been registered at UNIL, and pay a CHF 200 administration fee. Applicants must apply for an eligible Master’s programme.
