Paid Volunteer Opportunity with UNICEF in Jordan in Child Protection with a Monthly Allowance of JOD 1,186.33

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), in cooperation with the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme, offers a paid national volunteer opportunity for the position of Child Protection Officer in Amman, Jordan. The volunteer will work within UNICEF’s Child Protection Programme in coordination with education authorities, social workers, schools and implementing partners to strengthen school retention and child protection systems, including early warning mechanisms and referral pathways to services.

Applicants are expected to have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in child protection, safeguarding, education, social work, psychosocial support, case management, or related fields, and experience with coordinating with government authorities, NGOs and schools.
