The Cech Fellows Program (Summer Undergraduate Research Experience) is a paid, nine-week summer research program placing undergraduate students in life sciences labs led by HHMI scientists across the United States. Participants conduct full-time hands-on research, receive professional mentorship, and join a national cohort culminating in an end-of-summer research symposium. The program includes a virtual seminar series and professional development sessions alongside laboratory training in areas such as cell biology, genetics, and neuroscience.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Rising juniors and rising seniors enrolled full-time at an accredited US institution at the time of the program start; US citizens, nationals, permanent residents, visa holders, and others with lawful immigration status and valid work authorization through at least August 12, 2027; able to travel to the host lab and secure their own housing. No prior research experience required.
