KAAD Stipend Programme 2

The KAAD Stipend Programme 2 is a scholarship for students pursuing a Master's degree or a Doctorate in Germany. It provides financial assistance to help recipients complete their remaining academic programme and includes spiritual and cultural accompaniment via Catholic university chaplaincies. The programme targets candidates originating from countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America who are already enrolled at a recognised German university.

Applicants must originate from a country in Africa, Asia, the Middle East or Latin America, be already enrolled at a recognised university in Germany, require funding to complete a Master or Doctoral programme, and be recommended by a Catholic university chaplaincy (Katholische Hochschulgemeinde).

Contact the local Catholic university chaplaincy (KHG) to obtain a mandatory recommendation, compile the required documents (KAAD application form, enrollment certificate, transcripts, recommendation from KHG, study/research proposal), and submit the complete application to KAAD.
