The High-Level Trigger Calibration Scientist is a funded, time-limited research/technical position within the CMS experiment at CERN focused on developing and deploying near-real-time, offline-quality calibrations for the High-Level Trigger. The role involves maintaining and improving the Next-Generation Trigger (NGT) demonstrator and contributing to the design, integration and testing of a production-grade NGT data acquisition and calibration system for the HL-LHC era. The position includes close collaboration with detector performance and physics object groups and requires software development and systems integration work.

Conditions d'éligibilité
By the application deadline, applicants must hold a master’s degree with 2 to 6 years of professional experience since graduation or a PhD with a maximum of 3 years of professional experience since graduation. Candidates with only a bachelor’s degree are not eligible. Applicants must never have had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
