LensCulture Black & White Photography Awards 2026

The LensCulture Black & White Photography Awards 2026 is an international photography competition seeking monochrome work, from classic darkroom processes to digital and experimental approaches. Submissions may be single images or cohesive series (up to 10 images) made within the last 10 years. A total of 33 photographers will be recognized as winners, jurors’ picks, and finalists, with top winners featured in exhibitions and editorial features. Winners receive cash prizes and additional exposure including exhibitions, publication on LensCulture and international press coverage.

Cash prizes (total $10,000 distributed among winners), exhibition opportunities (including Photo London 2027 and a group exhibition in New York for top winners), solo feature on LensCulture for top Series winners, permanent exhibition in LensCulture Online Gallery, international press exposure, visibility with industry insiders, LensCulture Portfolio account for eligible entries.

Open to all photographers over the age of 18, regardless of experience level or cultural background.

First single-image entry per person is free, additional entries require a fee starting at $35.
