The Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (Indigenous) is a one-time scholarship administered by the University of Alberta to support outstanding graduate students enrolled in eligible master's or doctoral programs. It is intended for students living in Alberta and registered full-time, typically within years 1–4 of a master's or years 1–6 of a doctoral program. The scholarship awards a one-time payment of CAD 12,000 to selected candidates. Applicants are nominated by their home faculty and selected by the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected persons, or international students with a study permit; must be living in Alberta while enrolled at the University of Alberta; must be enrolled full-time in an eligible master's or doctoral program and registered in Fall 2026 and/or Winter 2027; must be within years 1–4 of a master's or years 1–6 of a doctoral program and demonstrate academic excellence.
Candidature
Students cannot apply directly; applicants are nominated by their home faculty. Applicants complete the AGES Student Declaration Form and submit it to their faculty by the faculty's internal deadline. Faculties select nominees and submit nominations to the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies.
