Cornell University AI for Sustainability (AI4S) Visiting Professorship Program 2027

The Cornell University AI for Sustainability (AI4S) Visiting Professorship Program invites faculty scholars from around the world to collaborate on research in AI and sustainability and contribute to the AI4S curriculum and broader academic environment. Visiting professors engage with CAISI faculty, researchers, and students for short academic visits, typically lasting a few days and generally no more than two weeks at a time, with the title normally held for two years to support sustained engagement. The program aims to foster long-term collaborations and enrich the educational experience of Cornell students.

Access to a global network of scholars, collaboration on research projects, involvement in curriculum development, seminars, guest lectures, and research discussions.

Open to faculty members worldwide, who must be nominated by a CAISI faculty member.

Nomination by a CAISI faculty member describing existing collaborations, proposed research collaboration, anticipated contributions to the CAISI curriculum, and a detailed budget plan.
