UQ Nursing and Midwifery Rural Placement Scholarship

The UQ Nursing and Midwifery Rural Placement Scholarship is a scholarship for students enrolled in the dual Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery program at the University of Queensland. It supports students who are completing or have requested placement in a rural or regional site and who demonstrate a commitment to work in a rural or regional area after graduation. The scholarship is linked to rural or remote placement experiences and employability.

$1,650 payment to support rural placement (one-year award)

Applicants must be enrolled in the 3rd year of the dual Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery program, be completing or have requested placement in a rural or regional site, and demonstrate commitment to work in a rural or regional area on graduation.
