UNSW Veterans Scholarship

The UNSW Veterans Scholarship supports former and transitioning Australian Defence Force personnel or their dependents who are experiencing disadvantage to commence studies in any UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program. For undergraduate recipients the scholarship is valued at $5,000 per annum and is payable for the minimum duration of a single or double degree. For postgraduate recipients the scholarship has a total value of up to $20,000. Applicants must complete Part 1 and Part 2 of the application process through the UNSW Scholarships portal and, where relevant, UAC equity/access scheme applications.

$5,000 per annum for undergraduate recipients (for minimum degree duration); up to $20,000 total for postgraduate recipients.

Applicants must be commencing a UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program and be a former or transitioning Australian Defence Force personnel, or their dependent.

Complete the UNSW Scholarships application form and submit evidence of your or your parents' Australian military service record through the UNSW Scholarships portal; relevant applicants may also apply via UAC Educational Access Scheme or UAC Equity Scholarship (ES) by their stated UAC deadlines.
