The 2026 Rare Disease Reporting Fellowship and Grants is a fully online journalism training opportunity for professional journalists worldwide, focusing on rare diseases, biotechnology, healthcare access, medical research, and patient experiences. It includes five days of online training with expert briefings and Q&A sessions, and up to 20 reporting grants of up to $2,000 each to support a related project. Grants are awarded to selected fellows to develop and publish a rare disease reporting piece, with the program organized by the National Press Foundation and funded in part by Fondation Ipsen.
