Internet Society Fellowship Program 2027

The Internet Society Fellowship Program 2027 is a global fellowship opportunity for Internet changemakers, emerging leaders, practitioners, and professionals who want to develop practical solutions to Internet-related challenges in their communities and contribute to a stronger, more open, secure, trustworthy, and globally connected Internet. The redesigned 10-month program combines self-paced pre-fellowship training, leadership development, specialized learning, mentorship, project development, practical project implementation, expert engagement, and participation in relevant Internet community events. Selected fellows receive a project stipend of up to US$5,000, subject to project budget approval, as well as travel support to attend a relevant global or regional Internet event.

Fellows are selected to participate across three tracks (Internet Policy and Mobilization, Internet Connectivity, Internet Safety and Security) and may come from diverse professional backgrounds interested in Internet governance, policy, connectivity, safety or related fields.

Complete required pre-fellowship training, develop a project plan, and then apply for the fellowship; selection is competitive and considers project feasibility, relevance, and potential impact.
