FAO Internship Programme

The FAO Internship Programme provides selected undergraduate and postgraduate students, or recent graduates, with practical work experience in areas related to FAO’s mandate. Interns work alongside experts on projects that promote sustainable food systems, environmental protection, and global nutrition security, gaining insight into FAO’s global role in eradicating hunger and supporting sustainable livelihoods.

Monthly stipend; practical work experience; mentorship and exposure to FAO work and international development issues.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or be recent graduates, nationals of FAO Member countries, aged 21-30 at the start of the internship, proficient in at least one FAO official language, and able to work in an international environment.
