The Queensland Commitment Scholarship provides financial support to commencing undergraduate students who have experienced significant financial hardship. It awards $7,000 per year for the minimum full-time duration of the recipient's program to help with living costs. Recipients who meet the Financial Hardship criteria of QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme also receive five entry rank adjustment points. The scholarship is offered by The University of Queensland and is effective from Semester 1, 2027.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents (including humanitarian visa holders), or New Zealand citizens; intend to enrol as a commencing student in any undergraduate program (or after an approved deferral up to 2 years); have not previously studied at university at bachelor level or higher; and have received the maximum 5 adjustment points in the Financial Hardship category of QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme (EAS).
Candidature
No separate scholarship application. Apply for the undergraduate program through QTAC and apply for the QTAC Educational Access Scheme (EAS) selecting the Financial Hardship category; UQ will automatically award the scholarship to eligible applicants.
