The UQ Refugee and Humanitarian Scholarship is a funded scholarship for students from refugee or asylum seeker backgrounds to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate coursework at The University of Queensland. The scholarship provides a 100% tuition fee waiver and an annual living stipend. The scholarship covers the full duration of the approved program. The program was established in 2021 and number of awards may vary.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be or will be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UQ and hold one of the listed Australian visas (Temporary Protection Visa subclass 785; Safe Haven Enterprise Visa subclass 790; Temporary Humanitarian Concern Visa subclass 786; Temporary Humanitarian Stay Visa subclass 449; or Bridging Visa E subclass 050 or Bridging Visa A subclass 010 if they have applied for the listed visas). Applicants must not have previously received the scholarship for the same level of study, must not hold another similar scholarship, and must demonstrate financial hardship with documentary evidence.

Apply using the online application form and submit required documents including visa copy, resume/CV, UQ offer or confirmation of application, evidence of financial circumstances, personal statement and optional supporting documents and references.
