The R D Arida Scholarship is a one-year financial award for commencing undergraduate students at the University of Queensland who demonstrate significant financial hardship and are residents of North Queensland. Up to two scholarships are awarded each year as part of the Aspire Scholarship Program. The scholarship supports students in any bachelor program and is funded from a bequest to the university.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Domestic students enrolling as commencing students in any UQ bachelor program in Semester 1 of the scholarship year who have not completed prior tertiary study at bachelor level or higher, can demonstrate significant financial disadvantage (maximum points for QTAC Educational Access Scheme), have been awarded The Queensland Commitment Scholarship, and are residents of North Queensland at time of application. Preference is given to applicants from Charters Towers, Hughenden or Cloncurry.
Candidature
Apply using the University of Queensland online application form; submit one application to be considered for Aspire Scholarship scheme and related schemes. Applicants need their QTAC application number or UQ student number and a personal statement.
