The Halim Family Women in STEM Scholarship is a one-year undergraduate scholarship supporting female commencing students in a bachelor program with a significant component of STEM at the University of Queensland. It is intended for domestic students who demonstrate significant financial disadvantage and who have been awarded The Queensland Commitment Scholarship. The scholarship was established in 2020 by Frank and Swan Halim under the Create Change Scholarship match initiative.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Domestic students in accordance with the University's Student Fees Policy; commencing students in a bachelor program with a significant component of STEM; no prior tertiary study at bachelor level or higher; must demonstrate significant financial disadvantage by achieving the maximum points for the 'Financial Hardship' category of QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme; must have been awarded The Queensland Commitment Scholarship; female students only.
Candidature
Apply using the online application form; submit one application to be considered for all Aspire Scholarship scheme scholarships and related schemes. Applicants need their QTAC application number or UQ student number, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status (if applicable), and a personal statement.
