R.N. Hammon Scholarships

The R.N. Hammon Scholarships are awards maintained by gifts from Mr Robert Noel Hammon for Australian students. They are available to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who are current UQ students or students at participating institutions. The scholarship value may vary and is awarded for the time it takes to complete the program on a full-time basis.

Variable scholarship payment for the duration of the program when studied full-time.

Applicants must be verified as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, have successfully completed at least one year of a program at a participating institution, and be enrolled on a full-time basis for a subsequent year of that program or a further program at that or another participating institution.

Applicants must provide supporting documentation (evidence of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status; Centrelink allowance statements; ATO assessment notice and evidence of income; current academic transcript; and any other supporting evidence) as part of the application.
