PSA Insight Lab for journalists, technology and digital media reporters

The PSA Insight Lab is a one-day newsroom laboratory organized as part of the Privacy Symposium Africa (PSA). It offers practical, investigative training for journalists, editors and digital media reporters on the data economy, including tracing data monetization and power structures in Africa. The Lab is designed to equip participants with techniques to report on how data is collected, shared and used to influence economics and policy.

Participation in a master class for 50 journalists and access to the Privacy Symposium Africa two-day event; networking with policymakers, regulators, technology companies and other professionals.

Applications are invited from journalists, editors, technology reporters and other digital media actors; priority given to those with a track record in technology, data or accountability reporting and who can produce investigative or data-driven stories.
