AdventureEXP Travel & Work Programs

AdventureEXP offers paid gap-year and destination work experiences that connect young adults with seasonal employment in hospitality, tourism and outdoor recreation. Programs typically last 3–12 months (with some 2-month and semester options) and combine paid work, secured housing, and an accredited life-skills curriculum. Placements are available in multiple destinations including U.S. states and New Zealand and include roles such as food & beverage, resort work, lifeguard and guest services. The organisation provides job matching, housing support and emergency assistance.

Adventurous young adults aged 18 and older; many participants are early-career or recent school leavers. Previous experience is not required and the majority of placements do not require prior experience.
