Simons Symposia

The Simons Symposia is a funded programme inviting proposals to organize a series of up to three weeklong symposia on a focused topic in mathematics or theoretical physics (with theoretical computer science connected). The foundation covers all participant expenses, including travel, lodging and meals, and invitations are issued by the foundation based on the organizing committee's recommendation. The series is approved for one year and can be renewed for up to two additional meetings, with meetings scheduled in subsequent years if the series is successful.

Travel, lodging and meals for participants; invitations for up to 23 participants per symposium; support for the conference site.

Applicants from within or outside the United States are eligible to apply to organize a symposium series.
