Centers of Excellence in Ukraine

The Centers of Excellence in Ukraine program funds academic units in Ukraine to develop ambitious research and training programs in computational, data-driven and theoretical basic science and mathematics. Each Center of Excellence is funded to support research activity and training for multiple years, with a competitive open call of proposals from Ukrainian institutions. The program aims to fund eight to ten Centers of Excellence with the possibility of extension after three years contingent on outcomes.

Eligible entities must have verifiable nonprofit status in Ukraine, or be part of a larger nonprofit university or academic institute that has nonprofit status, with the Center of Excellence functioning as an independent unit within or outside that host organization.
