Changing Narratives Fund 2024

The Changing Narratives Fund is a government program to support diverse creators in Canada’s audiovisual sector. It provides funding to organizations for a range of activities, including professional development, training and mentorships, and capacity-building initiatives with a national, regional or provincial reach. The fund aims to ensure diverse stories are represented and to foster equity and opportunity within the Canadian AV sector.

Funding up to $300,000 for projects; supports professional development, training and mentorships; builds capacity within the Canadian audiovisual sector.

Applicants must be Canadian-owned and controlled non-profit corporations with a primary mandate in the Canadian screen-based sector, be organizations incorporated at the time of application, and be in good standing with the CMF.
