Global Health Media Fellowship 2025-2026 for Medical Students in the U.S.

The Global Health Media Fellowship is a year-long fellowship for medical students in the United States that combines coursework, reporting, and an internship to develop physician-storytellers who can communicate global health issues across various media platforms. Fellows participate in rotations including coursework at Stanford, an embedded CNN internship, and a capstone project focused on global health storytelling and mass communication.

Fellowship stipend, modest travel stipend, CNN internship experience, coursework at Stanford, capstone project development, opportunity to work with local, national and international media outlets.

Available to current allopathic and osteopathic medical students enrolled in a U.S. medical school; not open to residents. Fourth-year medical students may delay residency to be eligible.
