AI, Ethics and Climate Governance Fellowship 2026

The AI, Ethics and Climate Governance Fellowship 2026 is an eight-week online programme for African researchers, practitioners, advocates and policy thinkers, focusing on the intersection of artificial intelligence, climate change, ethics and governance. It selects around 25 fellows from across Africa and provides opportunities to examine AI applications in climate action and the governance, ethical and policy questions surrounding them. Fellows develop an evidence-informed governance policy brief and receive a certificate on completion.

Certificate of completion and access to the ECF–YARA fellowship alumni network; approximately five hours of engagement per week across eight weeks.

Open to early-career Africans working or studying in areas relevant to technology, climate governance and public policy.
