IFAD Food Systems Transformation Grant 2026

The IFAD Food Systems Transformation Grant 2026 provides US$2 million in seed financing to support regional food systems initiatives in the Central Sahel, spanning Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. It invites eligible organizations, government agencies, private sector entities, research institutions, or consortia to implement innovative, climate-smart interventions that strengthen agricultural value chains and promote inclusive growth. Projects should be regionally relevant, commercially viable, and capable of scaling transformative results with a focus on women’s and youth inclusion.

Grant funding to implement a regional initiative; potential capacity-building and scaling opportunities across the Central Sahel.

Eligible applicants include governmental agencies, international and national organizations, private sector entities, research institutions, multi-partner consortia, or other eligible institutions capable of delivering regional food systems projects.
