Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Less Developed Areas (Selected Regions)

The Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Less Developed Areas reimburses actual tuition fees and certain mandatory academic charges for students enrolled in postgraduate and doctoral programmes. It covers MA/MSc, MBA, MS/MPhil (including medical university MS/MPhil) and PhD programmes for specified maximum durations. The scheme excludes non-study-related charges such as transport, hostel, sports and refundable dues. The scheme is currently closed for new registration.
